Q. Why Get Into Your Own Business in the First Place?

Think about the answer to that question for the next day or so, I'm willing to bet you've forgotten?

I had forgotten.

I'll tell you a story (in another post) about how I learned the answer to that question was the key to my online successes. Ever since.

Right Now However:

I'm busy FIGHTING to hold your ATTENTION, so whilst I have it:

"...apparently we're subject to an average of 5000 marketing messages, daily. We don't register most, ads are on anything that moves these days.

Transport, sporting fields, microphones in TV interviews, billboards, radio, TV, iPads, mobiles, even people tattoo ads on their bodies now."

Getting your message into the same inbox a person uses to communicate with their lover, or mother, has been "the-holy-grail" of marketing for ten years, in my experience. Any marketer telling you otherwise, is lying, or can't do eMail marketing properly. And that would be most of 'em.

When I refer to marketers, I mean affiliates, personal professionals, business owners and/or
agency reps.

Because from where I sit growing a business is marketing which makes all business owners marketers. We all get a lot of eMail, some we open, others not. We’ve all become sophisticated enough consumers to identify “Schmuck Marketers”, from the real deal.

I’m constantly “bamboozled” why some marketers assume consumers are stupid enough not to see a thinly disguised sales pitch (masquerading as good content) for exactly what “it” is.

“It” is what “it” is, and “it” doesn’t work!

My oath to you as the newest member of my Social Traffic herd, not only are my eMails “not boring”. When you see a [SMARTER] eMail land in your inbox, you'll start thinking "great" (more value). In fact, I dare say it won't be long before you're looking out for my eMails to arrive...

WHY?

I'm willing to invest more time and expertise delivering the greatest "overall value", irrespective of immediate returns.

You won’t be able to go back to the way things were once you start consuming these eMails.

BUT,

In order for me to deliver this value, I need your full attention. I'm a pro. I do eMail marketing for a living. I'm good at it. It supports the lifestyle I have always dreamed of my family living. It's not a hobby.

How I Work With My Herd...

Every [SMARTER] eMail I send will have a subject line prefixed with:

[SMARTER] {subject here}

Each eMail contains a "bite size" chunk of easily digestible information. eMails are formatted long and thin, easy to read on mobiles. My [SMARTER] eMails usually arrive towards the end of the week. Each takes 10 odd minutes to read.

If you think that's too much time to invest into learning how to engage your consumers [SMARTER], take your mobile phone to the toilet with you. Read whilst you "sit". This way you won't lose a second out of your day! Keep reading until you've consumed enough to think differently about your time investment priorities.
